Barry Bonds is the all-time home run leader in Major League Baseball (MLB), with 762 home runs. He surpassed Hank Aaron's record of 755 home runs on August 7, 2007. However, Bonds' record is controversial due to his use of performance-enhancing drugs.

Aaron, who played from 1954 to 1976, hit 755 home runs in his career. He broke Babe Ruth's record of 714 home runs on April 8, 1974. Aaron is considered to be one of the greatest baseball players of all time.

Some people believe that Bonds' record should not be recognized because of his use of performance-enhancing drugs. Others believe that Bonds' record is legitimate, regardless of how he achieved it.

Josh Gibson hit over 800 Home runs.

Josh Gibson (December 21, 1911 – January 20, 1947) was an American baseball catcher primarily in the Negro leagues. Baseball historians consider Gibson among the best power hitters and catchers in baseball history. In 1972, he became the second Negro league player to be inducted in the National Baseball Hall of Fame.

Gibson was born in Buena Vista, Georgia, and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He began playing baseball as a teenager and quickly showed his talent for the game. In 1930, he signed with the Homestead Grays of the Negro National League.

Gibson quickly became one of the most dominant players in the Negro Leagues. He was a powerful hitter with a cannon for an arm. He was also an excellent defensive catcher, and he was known for his leadership and intelligence on the field.

Gibson is often compared to Babe Ruth, and some believe that he was even better than Ruth.

Gibson hit over 800 home runs in his career, and he had a lifetime batting average of .373. He also led the Negro Leagues in home runs and RBIs multiple times.

Gibson never had the opportunity to play in the Major Leagues because of segregation. He died in 1947 at the age of 35. He is considered one of the greatest baseball players of all time, and his legacy continues to inspire players today.

Here are some of Josh Gibson's most notable accomplishments:

  • Led the Negro Leagues in home runs 10 times

  • Led the Negro Leagues in RBIs 8 times

  • Batted .373 lifetime

  • Hit over 800 home runs in his career

  • Inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1972

Josh Gibson was a truly great baseball player. He was a pioneer for African American players, and he helped to pave the way for integration in Major League Baseball. His legacy will continue to inspire players for generations to come.
